All teachers are RECEs & Assistants have years of experience. All staff have their First aid and CPR certification as well as all staff have had criminal checks done.

Our Story

Happy Beginnings daycare centre was the creation of a mom who wanted to spend more time with her young daughter, instead of putting her in daycare she created Happy Beginnings!

She wanted a home like feeling with lots of fun and learning not just for her daughter but for all the children who came to the centre a “home away from home”.

She started her journey in 1998 when her daughter was 2.5 yrs old Her daughter is now 25 and has graduated university, Marie retired in January of 2021 and handed the daycare over to Tammy & Kevin Hie.

With Tammy As director and Carrie Cipak as Supervisor extraordinaire running the day to day operations of the daycare and Kevin doing the behind the scenes work it is continuing to grow and thrive and keep at the top of the list for top daycare centres in Halton region.

Both Tammy & Carrie have worked at the centre since 2001 and could not have asked for a more amazing mentor to look up to then Marie Zoladeski.
